The queen is Elisabeth I, we are in the year 1592.I get up at 5.00 every day, and have breakfast – usually bread and water.I walk to school. It starts at 6.00. Every morning we have French and Latin and Writing lessons. In the break, at 9.00, I have an apple. Then we have lessons until 11. Then, it’s lunch time. The afternoon lessons – Latin, Maths and Reading – start at 1.00. School finishes at 5.00.

The Lake District
The Lake District is one of the most beautiful national parks of England. There are more and more tourists every year, who travel there from all over the world. The district is about 55 km wide. The higher parts are rocky, while the lower parts are mainly moorland. There are lots of bigger and smaller lakes among the hills. The weather is nearly always misty here, but you can go hiking or visit the famous old British poets’ cottages there. You can see lots of sheep and goats, and you can climb the highest mountain of England, Scafell Pike.
