2. Where is this haze from? Hot Spots in Indonesia and Malaysia Plantation owners Burning and clearing of farm land. We are here! 3. Why do we always get it? Annual clearing of land. Large scale deforestation, loss of national parks? Cheap and fast. Lower costs so that prices will be lower. 4. What prices? Plantations tend to be Oil Palm plantations Palm Oil is used everywhere. 5. The Kit Kat dilemma Increasing the costs of Oil Palm might mean triple the price of this same bag of Kit Kat. $15 Kit Kat??? 6. Does it impact non-humans? 7. What about us? 8.
