WinterhassettledinatPerryFarmParkandwhatabeautifulsightitis.Iinviteeachofyoutoplanahikearoundtheparktodiscoversomewintertranquility.

Theparkdistrictisworkinghardtoenhanceprogrammingforourresidents.WehavechangedtheformatoftheAdultHealth&Fitnessprogramsfromlisteningtotheneedsofthecommunity.Startinginthisbrochureweareofferingunlimitedclassesforonelowpriceamonth.ClassesincludeZumba,Yoga,Spinning,PilatesandGetFit,tonameafew.Pleasetakeafewminutesandreviewtheclassesandjoinusandmeetnewpeople–orbringafriendwithyoutooneoftheclasses.

InFebruary,wewillbehostingour11thAnnualWine&BeerTastingevent.Thisisanexcitingeventthecommunitylooksforwardtoeverywinter.Weendeavortoprovideaqualityevent.Lookforlocationinformationinthenearfuture.Markyourcalendarandjoinus!

3-4 year old programThe3-4thematicbasedprogramisdesignedforoneofachild’sfirstexperiencesina“school”setting.Ourprogramwillstresssocialization,cooperativeplay,finemotorskills,sharingandfollowingdirections,andthebeginningsofletterandnamerecognition.Children must be 3 by September 1, 2015.

4-5 year old programThe4-5phonicsbasedcurriculumwillhelpdeveloptheacademicandsocialskillsneededforenteringkindergarteninareaschooldistricts.Ourprogramwillstressthedevelopmentofindependenceandacademicskillsthroughlearningcenters,structuredactivities,socialization,cooperativeplay,dramaticplayandsharing.Children must be 4 by September 1, 2015.

Bourbonnais Township Park District Programs2015-2016 SESSIONSTheprogrampromotesanenvironmentthatfosterscriticalthinking,problemsolvingskills,andsocialdevelopmenttaughtthroughalphabetandthematicunits.Theexperiencesarebotheducationalandrecreational,whichaidinsocial,physical,intellectualandemotionalgrowth.Qualifiedexperiencedteachersinstructtheprograms.IllinoisEarlyLearningStandardsareappliedtocurriculumlessons.Signupearly,classesarelimitedtoallowforalowstudent-teacherratio.Childrenmustbetoiletindependentpriortothefirstdayofclass.Sessionsaredividedaccordingtoage.
