Newsletter August 2016 Volume 1, Issue 1 Seaborn Elementary School Newsletter Dear Parents, On behalf of Seaborn Elementary, I would like to welcome you to the 2016-17 school year! I am excited to have been passed the torch from a great educational leader, Mrs. Mulgrew. I will work diligently to uphold the tradition of excellence that she has created here at Seaborn. We recognize that families are the first part of a child’s education and strong family-school relations strengthen educational programs. Together we can work together to give the children a wonderful experience. Please consider playing an active role with our Seaborn Home and School Association or volunteering for one of our many activities. Information will be sent home on our SHSA and activities throughout the year. Our staff will be working diligently to prepare our students for the future through professional development, common assessments, curriculum reviews, technology integration, and many other practices. I look forward to working with you during this exciting time of your child’s life and if there is anything we can do here at Seaborn, please let us know. Respectfully, T.J.
