Here’s an example of what your project could look like:
Review:
How many droplets of water can fit on a penny?
Question:
I think that 15 drops of water will fit on the top of a penny. (Upper intermediate add a bit more details) A penny is very flat, and I think it will not hold very much water because water is a liquid and will just run off the penny.
Hypthosesis: (your guess)
● penny● glass of water● water dropper● paper towel● flat surface
Materials:
This is where you will explain step-by-step what you did.
Procedure:
Procedure (example)1. Place a penny on a flat surface2. Fill a water dropper with water from a glass3. Drop one drop of water at a time onto the penny4. Count how many drops will fit onto the penny
until the water flows off.5. Record the number
This is where you write out the results of your experiment. Was your guess right? If not, make sure you write that down, and what the actual results were. Remember - it’s okay to have an incorrect hypothesis!
