GRADE 4 CAMP TO MALDON

On the 18th of November the grade 4’s went on the bus to go to Maldon. When we arrived we all knew that this camp was going to

be a good one because it looked great. We did lots of walking and bike riding, it was amazing apart from one little scare!

On Thursday it was really hot so we did slip n slide. The slip n slide was awesome, it was all downhill and really really fast!

By Sienna Sozan 4G.

All of the activities were very fun, mostly the slip and slide, especially because of the hot weather. All of us rode to places like a BMX track, gold mines and sometimes just for fun. All of the free time activities like our camp booklets, Mini golf, having a nap, riding our bike around the bike riding track and all sorts of things were very fun. Everyone fun and when I say that I mean everyone. All of the meals and desserts were absolutely delicious and next year the 3s will think the same. Bike Ed Camp was absolutely fantastic, thanks to all the teachers that put this together and made it happen, a big thankyou to all of them. By Maddy 4G!

Wednesday the 18th was such an exciting and an absolutely amazing day for the 2015 year 4 classes going on their very first camp, Maldon Blue light bike Ed camp. Everyone was very excited and nervous waiting to find out what the camp would look like, but soon everyone settled in. We rode to places like the BMX track to test out our awesome tricks, we went on night walks, saw all the beautiful nature and went to Carman’s tunnel, we even saw Light finger Jack! We did many activities including Slip ‘n’ slide, bouldering and table tennis too. Many thanks to all the teachers including Miss. Gentner, Mr. Conway, Mr. Seddon, Mrs. Baxter and Miss. Blanchard for helping us and making this possible! By Chloe 4G!

Year 4 camp was an amazing experience for everyone. We played, socialised, learned, relaxed and most importantly we all had lots

of fun. The facilities were amazing and the staff were even better, as well as our teachers. We journeyed through the bush on our

night walk on Tuesday. On Thursday we were spoilt by a wonderful breakfast and later a slip n slide, bouldering and a good game

off table tennis. Then to the lolly shop on Friday and on the bus back home. And a amazing camp over all.

Matt 4G

CAMP Camp was fantastic. There was cabin idol & rock climbing. Sliding on the slip n slide, lolly shop. Thank you to all the teachers that helped. Cooper 4C

year 4 CAMP

The grade 4s went on a bike riding camp to Maldon. I loved the slip and slide, also when the

teachers went down the slip and slide. I even liked the night hike, the ride to Carmen’s Tunnel

and cabin idol was so FUN!!!!!!!

Abby Stuber 4C

CAMP Grade 4 camp was awesome. There was a slip in slide and we also did a rock climbing activity. The funniest thing was cabin idol.

The best thing was the slip in slide because it was really fast. My favourite thing was going to the lolly shop, I got a giant bubble-

gum stick.

CONGRATULATIONS MATT DAY

A Special Mention to Tucker Rd student Matthew Day (5V) who was noticed by the Moorabbin Leader (see below)

Big congratulations to Bentleigh East's Matthew Day, 11, who took out the 12 and under age group win for the 15km City2Sea run on Saturday. It was his first 15km race which he ran with his dad, Martin. But his dad had to pull out 8km into the race when he injured his calf, but Matt pushed on, running the rest of the way on his own with other competitors cheering him on. "We were also blown away by his time and thrilled for him that he came first in his age group which wasn't on his radar being the first time he ran this sort of length," his dad said.

Matt ran 1:12:21 for the 15km @ 4:49 per km – a very fast pace indeed.

Special Religious Instruction 2016

For 2016 the Education Department has outlined that Special Religious

Instruction is to be conducted outside of teaching hours. Plans are

underway already by SRI providers to determine the best way of delivering their programs –

before school, lunchtimes or after school.

TRBPS has always done its best to support the community’s interest in SRI and will endeav-

our to continue to do so. We are seeking the opinion of parents to determine an overall pref-

erence that we can communicate to SRI providers.

Please complete the information below and return it to school by Friday, November 27 so

we can start to make plans for 2016.

If you do not wish for your children to participate in any SRI programs in any way, there is

no need to return this form.

In 2016 I would enrol my child/ren in

Christianity

Greek Orthodox

Jewish

My preferred time/s would be (can select more than one).

Before school

Lunchtime

After school
