SCHOOL ATHLETICS CARNIVAL2022 B O O K I N G F O R M

Fearnley Dawes Athletics Track is an all-weather facility perfectly suited for school carnivals. The venue is pleased to offer a competitive all inclusive athletics carnival package as outlined below. To request a 2022 date please complete the booking request form on the following page.

Full use of brand new 6 lane Spartan BS synthetic Athletics track

Full use of lane 7 which is a specialised wheelchair lane (no spikes on this lane)

Full use of field event areas including:

2 x shot put circles

2 x discus cages

2 x high jump pits

2 x long jump / triple jump pits

1 x full sized soccer pitch infield

Access to 30 space carpark, 300 seat grandstand, toilets, separate staff toilet and spectator hill areas

All field event areas marked and prepared for competition including throwing implements, measuring and marking out equipment

Track prepared for competition and standard equipment supplied including:

PA system

electronic starting system

Relay batons

8 x stopwatches - multi timers also available

Starting blocks

Up to 2 x pop up tents in preferred locations

Full use of the canteen (stocked and managed by the hirer) ie: pie warmer, fridge, mircowave, small freezer

STANDARD SCHOOL CARNIVAL FULL DAY: $750 | Half Day or Cross Country Carnival: $450 (+GST)

*Fully marked out cross country course with 1km,1.6km and 2km loops and a drinks station

*Your request for accredited officials will be sent directly to Athletics NSW. They are generally $200 per official.

• This is a booking request form only. You will be notified in writing (via email) when your date has been secured.

• A user agreement document shall be forwarded to you 6 – 8 weeks before the carnival.

• The signed agreement shall be required along with a Certificate of Currency of Public Liability with Newcastle City Council and NAFMI noted as ‘Interested Party’ prior to the event.
