It is hard to believe, but the end of the
2014-15 academic year is coming to a
close. Following is important informa-
tion for all SCAIHS families:
If you have Elementary Students
(Grades K6 - 6), you are required
to submit the following reports by
June 7, 2015:
Final progress report
Year-end grades
If you have students in grades 3-6,
you must also submit your child’s
2014-15 test results
If you have Middle and/or High
School Students, you must submit
the following by June 7, 2015:
Final progress report
Year-end grades
2014-15 test results
If you have students enrolled in
the Special Needs Department,
you are required to submit the
following by June 7, 2015:

up) *Juniors and Seniors in high
school may use ACT, SAT, PSAT,
etc. for their results
Please be sure to include atten-
dance records on your final pro-
gress report. Also, if you have not
received 2014-15 test results, please be
sure to let your counselor know.

Summer Opportunities Check out these great opportunities for your children this summer:
SUMMER CAMP
University of South Carolina’s Adventure Series-This program is for
academically talented rising 6th through 12th grade students and is specially
designed each year to be challenging and rewarding for top students. The se-
ries is offered in a wide variety of subjects. Learn from top University of
South Carolina faculty and research professors as you practice law and order,
author an anthology or build your own robot.
Spanish Camps at Christian Life Church, 2700 Bush River Road, Columbia,
SC. There will be a Manners at the Table Camp (grades 3 –5 and ages 16-
adult) and a Party Unit (grades 2 –3). Cost is $125/week and space is limited
to 12 campers per camp. For more information, or to register, email spanish-

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
Murdock Farms (Belton, SC) has opportunities for watermelon technicians in-
cluding pollinators and harvesters this May through August. The farm has a week
of devoted Watermelon Camp when technicians are invited to stay on site for a
week at a time. The typical work day is from 6:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. The job is
available to anyone 12 or older, and parents or older siblings are encouraged to

Deepwood Estates (Lexington, SC) has a great part-time opportunity for
homeschool students ages 15 and up. If your student loves working with senior
citizens, Deepwood Estates is looking for good servers. Plenty of hours available
at $7.25 per hour. MUST BE ABLE TO MEMORIZE 4 ORDERS WITH A SMILE.
Shifts may include week days 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., as well as working some of
the 3 meal shifts on Saturday and Sunday. APPLY IN PERSON ONLY. No phone

through June 5 for only $8 per jumper. If you are interested in scheduling a

Inaugural Year for SCAIHS Student Council a Success

The SCAIHS Student Council's inaugural year culmi-
nated with an awards ceremony on Friday, May 1,
2015. We extend our gratitude and congratulations
to these students for their faithful service to the com-
munity this past year. A big thank you to our 2014-15
officers, and best wishes to our incoming 2015-16
officers!
SCAIHS Expands Resources

SCAIHS Student Council Applications Due June 1
The SCAIHS Student Council is accepting applications
for the upcoming school year. Student Council is open to
students in 9th through 12th grade. For more information,

quently as more resources and courses are re-
