Copper prices hit all time low with Chile’s new government. Joshua Morgan

At the second day of Chile’s new government copper prices hit all time low since July 2010. it trades for $2.92 per pound. This is just three months after the new president came to office. The average price for copper per pound in the U.S. is $3.45 per pound.

A six year maritime between Santiago and Peru ended Cameron Mauchmar

For six years Santiago Chile has had a maritime between them and Peru which was ended on January 27 2014. When the Santiago court of justice went for Peru more than Chile which took chilies right away from some of the pacific ocean. Off the coast of Arica lies a city on the border in Peru with a max maritime of 80 miles off the ocean.
