Student Comment

You may want to let your students know that even though the sfcc

program feels disorganized at times, the education that they are receiving

is a good one that wholly prepares them for taking the NCLEX and

starting as a new nurse.  I am receiving a lot of praise for my level of

competence as a new grad on my floor. I hit the floor two weeks ago and

I am already taking two patients independently, and they are pretty heavy

cases.  Sooo, thanks again for everything!

Chritus-St. Vincent Hospital

I wanted to let you know how pleased I have been working with your students; the graduating class in December was such a joy to work with and they are doing really good here.  We already have several who have passed their boards.

University of New Mexico Hospital

Our clinical instructor, Donna Brown, at UNM Hospital said something really nice that I thought I'd pass on to you.  She said she was impressed with our level of understanding and our quality of care. She said the "program up in Santa Fe" must be really good.  She complemented us saying, "You are a great representation for your school.  Good job."

Veterans Hospital

I would like to take this opportunity to express how much the 5D staff enjoy participating in the Santa Fe Community College student nursing clinical time. The students are always prepared when they arrive. Their enthusiasm and willingness to learn is noticed and greatly appreciated by the patients as well as the staff. It is a joy to have students from SFCC come to 5D.

Comments For EMSIChief, Dave Huckabee, City of Santa Fe Fire “We appreciate the collaboration and willingness of SFCC to work with us and customizing our training needs. This partnership has allowed us a flexibility in the community we have not had before.”

“I have never had an instructor take the time to work with me and explain pharmacology to me in the manner that Ms. Young has. Ashley never judged me and worked with me so that I did pass on my first attempt.”, EMT Basic – graduate  Brian Neuland

“It is a place where patients matter, people matter, and I mattered regardless of what occurred in my life.”  Armit Khalsa, Paramedic graduate, class of 2008.

Comments For Medical Asst.

I was so impressed with Leah Fulton, I called and asked when the next graduates would be ready to move into the work force.

Comments For Dental Health

Dr. Peck wanted to thank you for sending Weiying Collier her way and for doing such a great job with these students.  Weiying is one example of the wonderful teaching you are providing to these students.

I can't overstate how valuable your program is within the local community, and presenting the field of dentistry in favorable light.

Comments For Fitness Education

My wife and I use the facility at least 4 times a week. We love the staff and faculty there. The facility is always so clean and the equipment is wonderful.

I have told so many people about how wonderful this facility is. The classes are fabulous and instructors are so professional.
