is famous for the decorative pieces carved on
wood, Bamboo furniture, Clay pieces, idols
carved on wood etc.
Chhattisgadhi Culture is truly reflected
through its rich folk music and the Ballets,
Comical Plays, Dramas and Prahasans.
The various dance styles, cuisine, &
music are the famous attractions of
the state. Pandwani, the musical
narration of the epic Mahabharata is
beautifully depicted through the
artisans of Chhattisgarh.
"Raut Nacha"(The folk dance of
cowherds) and the Panthi and
Soowa dance styles are very
popular in the region.
Chhattisgarh has become a
popular place for the purpose of
settlement from all over the
world thus is multicultural for
people from all over the world.

Dipawali, Karma, Kartika & Hareli.

song, bihav song & Pathoni songs are very famous.

Chandaini-Gonda, Sonha-Bihan, Lorik-Chanda, Kari,
Hareli, Gammatiha. Rahas is modern folk plays of
Chhattisgarh. The popular entertainment songs
representing the Chhattisgadhi Culture are the Karma
songs, Danda songs & Dewar songs.
