  • BALANCING  THE  GAS  FIELD  à  Involves  Balancing  flow,  oxygen,  methane  and  pressure    Primary  Considera7ons  in  Managing  Landfill  Gas  Extrac9on:

    –  Mi9ga9on  Escape  of  GHG    –  Maximize  u9lisa9on  of  CH4  (CH4  ≥  50  %volume)  –  Minimize  O2  levels  (O2%volume)

  •    Classified  as  a  Clean  Development  Mechanism  Project   (“CDM”)  and   is  expected   to   receive   cer9fied   emission   reduc9on   (“CER”)   cer9ficates  from:    1)   The   Collec9on   and   Destruc9on   of   methane   generated   from   the  landfill

    2)   The   Displacement   of   pollu9ng   fuel   sources   used   in   electricity  genera9on.    Expected   to   generate   upto   130,000   tCO2e   over   a   10   year   Credi9ng  period
