Overview
1. Project Objective Develop an inspiring family-oriented, community park on
top of an unused designated land fill that will have have minimal impact to the tax basis and includes an open space preserve, recreational areas, and a conference center
Budget: $1.7M Cost for land is estimated to be $1M Plan has to be approved TODAY! No spending authority during planning Use the old landfill

Land is safe from toxins Land is big enough City will maintain the park (Operations) Is accessible to public via existing roads and
public transportation

Requirements Listed A toddlers play area with 2 slides,
4 toy cars, One toy house, 4 swings, 3 See-saws and open area with soft turf of 4000 Sq ft. This area will also comprise of four benches with view of play area for adults to monitor
A long walking trail for dogs and owners; dog friendly; jogging or cycling trail; secluded from other areas of park
A parking lot for 500 cars evenly distributed around the park. All Parking area within 10 meters from the nearest activity area; will have lights to access in the evenings
Include skate park, chess tables. drinking fountain and fire safety measures around the park
Two base ball/softball fields with bleachers; refreshment stand and dressing room. Bleachers should have 100 seats and have clear view of the ball park
Two soccer fields with bleachers and refreshment stand. Capacity of 50 seats with clear view of the field
Refreshment stand in a close proximity to the bleachers and should have space for two outlets.
The fields require lights 50% of the park will of open area,
where lawn, vegetation, water bodies and woods of the existing site could be left unaltered.
