“EFFICIENCY IS THE NAME OF THE GAME”

At a time when Business is more

multi-factored and global than ever,

Efficiency is the key to Success for

Organizations. The importance of

efficiently running tasks often gets

overshadowed by the need to streamline

an organization's operations.

"Unfortunately, the cumulative effect of

these priorities can be an organization that

is thriving with operational and cost

inefficiencies,"

Many operations remain siloed despite an

ever-rising need for integration, which

only magnifies inefficiency.

"At this time, no one vendor offers an

all-in-one solution to support operational

efficiency in an organization," "however

some IT teams are making progress toward

integrating and filling the gaps of their

existing business application. Until an

all-in-one solution is available, IT teams are

left to consider implementing and

Transformation Guaranteed

2

integrating tools from different vendors –

and rethinking their approaches to IT

oversight."

To achieve the goal of “Optimizing

Efficiency”, IT@DTSS presents a short list

of focus points which will take IT to the

Next level and eliminate the present

operational & cost inefficiencies:

Enterprise IT architecture/Layout

As is the case with the layout of a physical

structure (Datacenter & Network),

Implemented enterprise architecture can

widen the difference between a

streamlined experience and a

cumbersome one. IT@DTSS will partner

with IT architecture specialists to establish

an environment in which data is treated

consistently across the enterprise and can

easily be accessed & processed. “Designing

architecture this way can help to achieve

better results & greater efficiencies.

Mr. Yatendra KumarHead-Information Technology shares the

changes in the IT domain & how he is taking

technology to the next level

Page 3: Sampark q1 2016

Transformation Guaranteed

Credible service-based connectivity

To achieve near 100% uptime on connectivity, IT@DTSS will collaborate with top telecom companies to provide dual internet connectivity to build in redundancy across its Pan India offices with stringent SLA on uptime.

Standardized data & New ERP enhancements

To realize greater efficiency, IT@DTSS will carry out new developments in Ramco to cater to business needs, revisit various functional processes and the logics implemented in Ramco, restructure them to minimize data duplicity & reconcile data definitions and integrate them into a single database repository that will serve as a standard for all reporting and analysis at DTSS.

Cross-vendor application interoperability

IT@DTSS will break down software silos so that applications from different vendors can exchange data, synchronously or asynchronously. This will eliminate data duplicity & minimized the keystrokes at the user end.

An analytics-optimized data repository

To support enhanced data analytics, IT@DTSS will construct a robust data repository that consolidates data from multiple sources, and then normalizes and reconciles them before storage." This will provide the required insight into the business & operations and will further help in better and faster decision making.

Attendance automation

To achieve greater efficiencies, IT@DTSS will

3

implement solution to automate Customer site & BO attendance capturing through a centralized server and ensure data is available to respective stakeholders on real time basis for faster decision making and delivering service excellence.

Mobility support

A few years ago, Apple trademarked the phrase "There's an app for that," and in 2016, the sentiment is truer than ever. With this in

mind, IT@DTSS will "work towards exploring options for using mobile applications to support the business."

Going beyond efficiency

Clearly, establishing efficient enterprise operations is important, but that isn't the end of the story. IT@DTSS will go beyond merely focusing on efficiency, and instead become strategic business partner to fast-track DTSS journey from “Good to Great”.

Expansion in Business Development

The Sales Team started the year with a challenging goal for the new FY 2016-17, with a growth of 30% on the new business acquisition.

The Sales Team had achieved INR 5.60 Crores in the last FY 2015-16, in terms of new business acquisition as against the budget of INR 5.20 Crores.

This achievement greatly enabled DTSS to exceed the revenue targets for the year 2015-16.

The Sales Team ended Q1 with INR 2.30 Crores against the Q1 goal of INR 1.65 Crores , the 1st time we have crossed INR 2 Crore in DTSS history

We started the year with a bang, spreading our wings in the East by bagging the Medica Hospitals account – worth 62 lakhs of monthly billing, spread across Kolkata, Ranchi(Jharkhand) and Kalinganagar (Orissa).

Medica is a very premium acquisition considering the fact that our business with Medica could grow to a INR 85 lakhs monthly billing account, making it one of our largest clients and THE LARGEST HEALTHCARE client.

We also expanded our business with Infosys by bagging a contract with them at Mysore, to add to the existing business at Trivandrum

We also were successful in winning Pan India RFP with CGI, enhancing our presence with CGI across the country

DTSS also added a second Altisource location at Mumbai, making Altisource our largest client with a monthly billing of INR 75 lakhs

We also won our 1st contract with Apollo Hospitals in the West @ Navi Mumbai.

Some of the other notable client acquisitions in Q1 are Aequs Aerospace, Ola, Jubilant Generics, Myntra, to name a few

OLA (ANI Technologies) and REGUS have been 2 success stories, which started very small , and have grown into very large sized

key accounts with us , mainly thanks to the efforts of Sales

Managers, Udayakumar SS in case of OLA, and Rahul

Deorukhkar, in case of REGUS.

Both of these team members held

the account personally, built a wonderful relationship

with the client, constantly engaging with the

client and nurturing the account, and coordinating with the Operations

team to deliver.

Well done boys!

With a consistently demanding target for this FY 2016-17, the Sales team is all revved up to meet the numbers and build the DTSS brand as a preferred partner.
