3. It was founded in March 1999 by Marc Russell Benioff.

1. An Email will be sent from Salesforce.com along with the link to activate your account.

2. The site prompts you to set a password and choose a question and answer to verify your identity in case you forget your password.

changes you will automatically get logged out.

• There are several ways of finding information on the salesforce:

i. Global Search

ii. Object List View

• Located at the top of the screen.

• Simplest way to find information in salesforce.

• Wildcards:Use * to match one or more characters.Use ? To match a single character.Others: AND, OR, (), “”

ii. Object List View

• It allows you to quickly view a specific set of records and some of the data associated with those records.

• Within the list you can sort by the columns, follow records, Edit records or Print List.

• It allows greater degree of accuracy than global search

• Fill up all the field marked with red color. These are required fields.

• Records can be related to other records. To do this click on lookup button.

• Can Modify existing records by clicking Edit.
