Our Mission As a community of faith, we the People of God of St. Lawrence parish, are involved in an on-going process of conversion. We strive to seek out and attend to the spiritual and physical needs of our membership and our neighbors in need according to the charisma and standards of ministry of Christ, our Savior. We seek to develop responsible attitudes towards STEWARDSHIP, appreciating what God has given us to benefit ourselves and others. We see our Stewardship as integral in improvement of our spiritual well-being by personal prayer, sacramental celebration and communal worship. We commit ourselves to establish a mutual covenant to recognize the dignity, the blessing of talent and common responsibility of all members, our visitors and neighbors of varied denominations, serving the diversity of need of all who worship or join our community of Faith. We strive...we seek...we commit...to be always God's Holy people.

Friday 3 to 6 PM

Jesus is truly present with us today. He comes quietly and humbly.

Only the humble can see, with the eyes of faith, the humble Jesus hidden in the Blessed Sacrament.

This is the faith that prompts you to come and adore Him.

If He was visible and we could see Him with our senses, everyone would run to the Chapel, night

and day, to be with Him. But He remains hidden in the Blessed Sacrament because he is calling us to faith, that we come to

Him in humility.

Pray the Rosary: Saturday at 3:30 PM

We welcome Fr. Gerry Dion once again to Saint Lawrence, covering for me while I am away. I am very grateful for him being here and presiding in my absence. There were a total of 38 souls we prayed for during our All Souls Day Memorial Mass here at Saint Lawrence. A candle for each was lit before the Altar in memory of the deceased. Deacon Geoff delivered a moving homily and the music ministry added a beautiful touch to the special Mass. Thank you to Polly Sarette for all her help in setting up and decorating for this event. Next weekend, November 20th and 21st, after each weekend Mass, there will be a refresher training for Altar Servers and Lectors who have served, or are interested in serving at Mass. Please plan on staying after worship for about ten to fifteen minutes and spread the word.

May God continue to bless us and our parish community.

Fr. Kneeland
