SCHOOL –Diocese requirement that school funding is less than 50%
from church support.
Archdiocese – for a school to be viable, the parish obligation to school cannot be less than 20% nor greater than 45% of ordinary revenue (plate and envelope) at a full cost basis and any more is a sacrifice of core parish ministries for the access to Catholic schools. Means that St. Lawrence parish support should be no more than $189,540. Currently, the parish has budgeted $261,984.98 for the fiscal year of 2011-2012.
