OCTOBER IS THE MONTH OF THE HOLY ROSARY AND RESPECT LIFE MONTH. Pick up your weapon! Please pray the Rosary before Mass and at home with your fami-ly for an end to abortion.

Operation Christmas Child Shoebox has begun! Needy children throughout the world learn about Jesus from a small bible and prayer card placed in each box. Instructions are enclosed to pack your shoebox which you can pick up in back of Church. For more information call Joyce Lobner 715-423-4991 or Lois Hauke 715-712-1520. See insert in bulletin.

Advent Candles are becoming increasingly difficult to find. If you’d like to order a pack for your family Advent wreath, please contact the parish office by Friday, November 5th. Candles are 12” tapers, set of 4 (3 purple, 1 rose), $6.80.

Correction from the secretary: Daily Mass will be said regardless of school snow day cancelations.

What can you do to help keep St. Lawrence active and vibrant? Consider helping out with one or more of the following. Please call the parish office to volunteer. Social Justice Committee is looking for 1 more volunteer to join, and a committee chair. Family Life Committee is looking for 1-2 “empty nesters” and 1 with children still at home to help plan parish family activities. Learn to live stream the Mass! Every day our Mass is live-streamed to our Facebook page. This is made possible by just a few parishioners. It would be helpful to have 2 or more volunteers and then rotate days, Training will be provided (they say it’s really easy!).
