Safety Directors have a unique opportunity to help create this safe, fair, fun and positive environment. Parents who are registering their first child in AYSO certainly want them to have a good time and learn soccer, but making sure their child is safe is also a big concern. Safety Directors need to brag about all the things the Region does to make sure the environment is safe.5AYSO Volunteers are Required to:Complete and submit a Volunteer Application EVERY YEAR.Be authorized to perform their jobs by their Region (or Area, Section or other AYSO authority).Act within their job descriptions and the AYSO policies, procedures and guidelines.Complete AYSOs Safe Haven and be properly trained to do their jobs.
