CHRISTMAS IN JULY? It’s that time of year again! Planning for the Giving Tree has begun. If you are interested in cutting, hole punching and stringing stars, please call Nancy in the Parish Minis-try Office (718-821-3285) during July. It is not too soon to work on this very worthy Parish project.

The Parish Ministry Office is collecting school supplies to help the families that come to our pantry. When you are shopping for your children’s supplies, please be kind and pick up an extra item or two. You may leave notebooks, loose leaf, pens, pencils, crayons, erasers, glue sticks, memo pads and pocket folders in the food boxes in Church or bring any supplies to the Parish Ministry Of-fice, Monday through Thursday, 9am-4pm in July. The Office will be closed in August.

DEAR PARISHIONERS, I WANT TO TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO THANK ALL WHO PARTICIPATED IN ANY WAY FOR MY INSTALLATION. I DEEPLY APPRECIATED ALL YOUR ENTHUSIASM, SUPPORT AND HARD WORK. IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL EXPERIENCE AND A JOYFUL CELEBRATION OF OUR PARISH. THANK YOU TO ALL PARISHIONERS AS WELL FOR YOUR HEARTFELT WELCOME. I AM SO GRATEFUL TO BE YOUR PASTOR. GOD BLESS YOU ALL, FR. Sacred Heart Parish Ministry Office will accept donations of gift cards to help these families replace what was destroyed in the fire. Walmart, Target, Stop & Shop, Home Depot cards, of any denomination, would be greatly appreciated. Please leave any donation, in an envelope, marked Parish Ministry-Glendale Fire in the Rectory. Thank you once again for remembering others who are in need.
