New Entrance and Canopy

We are happy to announce that we are pro-ceeding with plans to update the church entrance with new doors and a canopy. As many know, this was part of the original plans when the church was built. The Fi-nance and Parish Councils both are in agreement to go ahead. This is something

Mass Schedule for St. Francis of Assisi, Lenoir

Sunday Mass-10am continues—Live streamed on Face-book New—An outdoor Mass schedule began last week here at St. Francis of Assisi, Lenior, in response to the May 8th NC government Covid updates and instructions from the Dio-cese of Charlotte. Schedule for Outdoor Masses:

Location: Pavillion/Shelter Area Daily Mass: Tuesday-Friday at 12pm Anticipated Mass: Saturdays, at 5pm Tips: Please dress accordingly and bring a lawn chair, or cushion/blanket. Consider bringing your pop up tent to pro-tect you from rain/sun. If you would like to remain in your car with the windows down, please park close to the shelter. Important Health & Safety Details:

We are proceeding with caution with outdoor Mass and ask for your cooperation in making this a safe experience for all. Public health direc-tives should be followed to promote physical distancing and reduce transmission of the coro-navirus, including:

• Wear a cloth face covering/mask • Physical distancing: Maintaining at least 6 feet of dis-

tance between individuals (except family/household groups)

• Wash your hands often/hand sanitizer Sunday Mass Obligation Waived: The obligation to attend Sunday Mass remains lifted for all Catholics of the diocese until further notice. Please exercise prudential judgment in deciding whether to attend Mass.
