Yellow polyethylene line guards ares 1/3 the weight of rubber line hose and feature an easy to clean, smooth finish. Meets requirements for ASTM F712 & F968.• Ideal cover during cross-arm change out• Large inside diameter of 1.77"• Connecting male / female ends • Built-in wear indicator (inner layer of material is black, outer layer is yellow. If either layer should wear so opposite layer is visible, the product must be taken out of service immediately.)

POLY LINE GUARDS (15KV & 25KV)

These high-density polyethylene covers virtually surround the hot parts and hardware to give the linemen extra protection when rubber gloving or using hot sticks.

The conductor, insulator and dead-end units mate together to cover pin-type or post-type insulator construction and can also be used with the dead-end cover. Use models with Grip-All adapters for hot stick applications. Handles for gloving .

Cat. No. 21826This 6', Type I high density, cross link polyethylene

cover is rated Class 4 (36.6 kV guarded phase to guarded phase). It is applied using rubber gloves when following appropriate company work rules. The inside diameter is 3" making it useful on a wide range of conductor sizes.

The unique "connector-stop" molded into one end prevents covers from overlapping during installation. Also compatible with 1.5" class 3 or 4 flexible rubber line hose. Wgt. 6.5 lbs.

These insulator covers are made from bright orange, high density polyethylene and mate with the 5' Conductor Covers shown to the right.

They are 21" long, 8-1/2" wide and available in 6" and 9" heights to fit different size insulators. Use model with Grip-All adapter for hot stick applications; Plain for gloving.

Rating: 25kV phase to phase

Cat. No. C406-0504 For energized line work, this rigid cover up

fits onto crossarm sizes up to 3-3/4" x 4-3/4". The two-piece design telescopes from 13.1" to 20.9". A hotstick adapter permits handling with a clampstick. Meets ASTM Class 3 for 26.4kV phase-to-phase.
