CanonicalCorrelationAnalysisbetweenChemicalComponentsandSmokingQualityofFluecuredTobaccoinQiannanCUIYing (ChinaTobaccoHebeiIndustrialCo.Ltd.,Shijiazhuang,Heibei050051)Abstract [Objective]ToexplorethewaytoimprovethequalityoffluecuredtobaccoinQiannantobaccogrowingareas,tofindoutthekeychemicalindicatorsthataffectthesensoryquality,andtoprovidereferenceforthequalityimprovementoffluecuredtobaccoinQiannantobaccogrowingareas.[Method]WithQiannanfluecuredtobaccosastheresearchmaterials,thecorrelationbetweenchemicalcompositionandsensoryqualityoftobaccoleaveswasanalyzedbysimplecorrelationanalysis,multipledifferenceanalysisandtypicalcorrelationanalysis.[Result]ThereweresignificantdifferencesinthechemicalcompositionandsensoryqualityoffluecuredtobaccofromdifferentgradesanddifferentproducingareasinQiannantobaccogrowingareas.Thetotalplantalkaloids,twosugarsandtotalnitrogenhadastrongcorrelationwiththesensoryevaluationquality.Totalplantalkali,totalnitrogencontent,sugaralkaliratioandnitrogenalkaliratiowereimportantfactorsaffectingthesensoryevaluationoffluecuredtobacco.Inacertainrange,withtheincreaseofthesugarnicotineratioandthedecreaseoftotalplantalkaliandtotalnitrogen,thearomavolume,concentrationandmomentumofsensoryevaluationshowedadecreasingtrend.Withtheincreaseofnitrogenalkaliratio,thearomaquality,aromaquantity,miscellaneousandirritatingscoresinsensoryevaluationshowedadecreasingtrend.[Conclusion]ItishelpfultoimprovethesensoryevaluationqualityoffluecuredtobaccoinQiannantobaccogrowingareasbyreducingtotalplantalkali,enhancingsugaralkaliratioandnitrogenalkaliratio.Keywords Qiannantobaccoarea;Chemicalcomponents;Smokingquality;Canonicalcorrelationanalysis
