Fuse basket in place, and finish edges with invisible machine appliqué, machine blanket stitch, or another decorative stitch. Fuse appliqué in this order, stitching edges after each layer is added: stems, leaves, large flowers, small flowers, flower center circles.

Join 6 blocks side by side, turning every other one as shown. Sew a 242" light green check strip to each long side of the pieced strip. Repeat to make 4 border units like this. Sew a border unit to opposite sides of the quilt center. Set 2 remaining border units aside.

4. To make a Square-in-a-Square block, sew a 3f" light green check half-square triangle to each side of a 4w" rose/black floral square. Make 4 blocks. Sew one of these blocks to each end of 2 pieced border units from step 3. Sew the border units to the top and bottom of the quilt.

5. Sew 362" black novelty print borders to sides of quilt. Sew 402" borders to top and bottom.
