Directs CAPSD, publishing program, copy editing and

forwarding the draft manuscripts to the literary groups for

their comments.

Seeks approval from the Ministry of Education.

Explore the budget for the production of textbooks.

Curriculum Officers Responsible for working with subject committees to decide about

the curriculum

Commissioning the editors where the authors are to write a book

Chapters and topics are commissioned to different authors and

later compiled

Are invited to write books and pass necessary comments for

further improvement

Prepare a list of illustrations and photographs in consultation with

curriculum officers

Services to Dzongkhags and Schools:

• Visit Dzongkhags and selected range of schools both in urban and

remote, monitor the DEOs/ADEOs, selected Heads and provide

professional support services

• Write reports( about the school conditions) and submit to the

concerned agencies of the Ministry

services to DEOs/ADEOs, Heads and teacher

• Develop policies, System of the Education Monitoring and

Support Services and support institutionalisation of the same.

• Develop monitoring tools, test tools, print and supply tools to

Dzongkhags and schools.

• Train personnel involve in the DEMSS and professional

development of school personnel to enhance teaching.

3. To Lead the Education Monitoring and Support Services Division

• Study the education policies and plans pertaining to provision of

quality wholesome education

• Develop indicators of quality provision of education

• Prepare plans for education monitoring and support services

CAPSD regularly.

Action Research and Experimentation and sharing with others.• Carryout research or action research on teaching learning processes,

publish research work, share experiences to Heads and DEOs

through workshop.

Develop generals guidelines for principals

admintrative procedures . Explain to the community the polices and

priorities of the government.

Prepare quarterly progress report on

development. Execute all the planned & non-planned

developmental activities annually as per

the approved budget.

schools to ensure good management &

administration. Ensure for provision of equitable of

educational facilities within the Dzongkhag/

Geogs /communities. Plan and co-ordinate Non-formal education

programs in the district. Monitor NFE centers and management of

NFE teachers. Established of new schools/NFE centers.

through total involvement of school personnel .o Institutionalise collective planning, implementing,

consult parents when necessary.o Support, monitor and evaluate the staff members

Ensure that the school has adequate facilities

and it is maintained properly. Plan and initiate for improvements of

classrooms, library, laboratories, offices, staff

rooms, recreational facilities, staff quarters,

play fields, agriculture gardens, flowers

garden and footpaths. Enforce accountability and transparency to

promote sustainability.

and procure those in advance. Plan all the co-curricular activities to be organized

during the session.

o S/he has to recognized the personality, strengths and

weakness of the students- adjust his own attitude and

behavior to motivate the students to learn effectively.o Educational, vocational and personal guidance is

essential part of teacher’s duty

as stock of furniture, issue of furniture, supply of
