1.6 EA Success Tips

Notes:

Learners will hover over the items to uncover the below information. The green area are hot spots and will

not show during the training.

A positive attitude creates an encouraging environment for both students and colleagues.

The use of consultative skills allows for EAs to match solutions to student needs.

The appropriate use of technology helps EAs manage their time and their prospective students.

EAs use business acumen and organizational knowledge to manage student files and stay current on program trends.

Professionalism is an important trait for successful EAs because we must always remain professional when dealing with prospective students.

EAs are constantly called on to solve prospective student concerns in addition to their own. That is why EAs must use proactive problem solving before contacting additional support.

The enrollment experience is unique for each prospective student and paying attention to detail will ensure that each student is prepared for successfully beginning class.

Taking a student-centered approach will lead to high student retention.

EAs should focus on quality enrollments to maintain the integrity of Walden University, increase student retention, and build a network of high caliber students and alumni.

A high level of phone activity leads to higher prospective student outreach and greater student support.
