So..What has Robonaut 2

been up to lately?

Well, he was onboard the Space Shuttle

Discovery to help out the crew and make

his way to the International Space Station.

This was on 24th February 2011.

He will also be monitored by engineers

to see how he operates in weightlessness

NASA say that Robonaut 2 is the first dexterous humanoid robot in space, and

the first US-built robot at the space station

Robonaut 2 weighs 300 pounds, consists of a head and a torso with two hands
