    E. Development and assessment of treatment protocols for specific pediatric clinical groups, including reflex neurovascular dystrophy, psychogenic pain, failure-to-thrive, reactive attachment disorders, parenting strategies for ADHD.

    VIII. CURRENT RESEARCH PROJECTS

    A. Child-parent attachment and family functioning in families having preschool children with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, or craniofacial anomalies.

    B. Patterns of child-parent attachment, and of parent-child caregiving, in British families who have adopted Romanian-born, institutionalized, infants and preschool children. In collaboration with Professor Sir Michael Rutter, and Professor Thomas G. OConnor, Institute of Psychiatry, London.

    C. Development of attachment-based intervention protocols for families raising children with problematic attachments (current samples are: Head Start/Early Head Start children; young mothers serving prison terms; young mothers in high school; and children in Foster Care/Adoptive care).

    IX. TEACHING ACTIVITIES

    A. Classroom, Seminar, Teaching Laboratory

    1972-79 Two undergraduate and two graduate courses in developmental psychology and human ethology, UVA Department of Psychology.

    1980-90 Guest lecturer in graduate courses in Psychology and in Education (average of four/year).
