PRE-REGISTRATION & REGISTRATION
CHOOSING YOUR CLASSES FOR NEXT YEAR!
PROCESS
• Today –Pre-Registration—You will receive your course-selection sheet
and information to help you pick your classes for next year.
• February 4 and 5—Registration—You will bring your completed
course-selection sheet to your next appointment to enter your course
requests. These are the classes you will be registered for in 10th grade.
• May-You will sit with a counselor to organize your 10th gr. schedule how
you want it. Only the classes you registered for will be used.
• Mid August – Look for your schedule to be listed in Student Vue
• August 17- First Day of school

Academic PLAN
Students will create and complete an Individual Career and Academic Plan (ICAP) and/or Individualized Education Plan (IEP) that meets the District’s graduation requirements. At Rocky, ICAP starts in Lobo 101 class and is updated in each grade level in designated classes.
Earn 240 Credits Students must satisfy all of the following
requirements:
Students work with their counselors to make sure credits are being met each year.

• You must earn at least 60 credits before next year.
• And you must pass English 9 or Pre AP English 9
GRADES & TRANSCRIPT
• Middle School Grade Opt-Out
• Make sure all opt out forms are turned in to the registrar by the end of the
year.
• Repeat Forgiven for classes you re-take. The lower grade will
come out of the GPA calculation. This is not automatic-see your
counselor to make changes. All classes and grades remain on your
transcript.
• Waivers – 2.5 PE credits if you participate in an RMHS sport
