TRAINEESHIPS AT CERN, ESA AND ESO (MÁX. 2 YEARS)
Goal of the programme*: to develop an on-the-job training plan in strategic technological domains that will lead to the increase in the competitiveness of Portuguese companies;
Since its creation, more than 250 engineers participated.
50/50 (statistically) return to Portugal, versus those that stay in the European market, in academia and as staff members at the organizations.
*The evaluation board is composed by senior researchers and senior representatives of referenced multinational Portuguese companies
[2000-2014] 86M€ of
Supplies & Services by Portuguese companies
[2014] Portugal is
considered a well balanced* Member State
(MS) with Switzerland, France and
Hungary*The return coefficient of a MS is the ratio between that MS share of the value of contracts and that MS contribution to the CERN budget over 4 years
