Proverbs 20:1 / Proverbs 23:21

LUKE 19:10 says, “For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.” What a powerful passage to remind us why Jesus came here on his earthly

ministry. It is because of the souls of men. He could have decided to enjoy the beauty of heaven, but left and sacrificed His own life for our salvation. Let us be continually challenged that His heart should also be our heart. May we be reminded that our goal is not basically to have big number of attendance, but to see many souls saved, see how God changes our lives and see more missions and churches do what we are commanded to do.

Meanwhile, I personally want to thank you again for the sympathy, support and concern you have expressed to me, my family and relatives during the wake and the burial of my beloved mother. On one aspect, it is sad for me, but I do rejoice that she is now in Heaven and also that God used the funeral service for the salvation of my loved ones and baptism of 6 of my relatives! Truly, God has a purpose for everything. Please continue to pray for their revival.

Also, God be praised for the revival he sent last Friday. Men’s Revival was victoriously held attended by 250 men from 6 churches. May we all continue to open our hearts as He gives us more opportunities to grow and serve Him!

Let us all have a blessed Sunday!

MEN'S REVIVALOCTOBER 8

"I live in the greatest country (USA), but you can do better here in your country." This was the challenge given during the Men's Revival

last Friday night by Bro. Bill Graham. With 5 split sessions, great singing, godly fellowship and red-hot preaching, the said triumphant meeting has

proven that indeed, God can still send revival to the men of our churches.

10/10/10(October 10, 2010)

Interestingly, today’s unique date will never occur again in your lifetime.

The blessings that you get today specifically from church and from

God’s Word may never be given again in your lifetime. Unless, you live another 100 years. So, take advantage of today!

OCTOBER 13Be a part of a life-changing conference

this Wednesday night. The greatest investment is one that will last for eternity, and that is the Lord's Work. As stewards of God's property and as children of God,

we must desire to learn how to invest properly so that we will reap great dividends.

Make sure you participate in our Church's 40-day 24-hour round d' clock prayer. This will help set our hearts right for our upcoming Missions Conference on November 30

with the theme "FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS" (Esther 4:14).

“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” I Corinthians 2:9

God is good for making us a family that has a clear testimony of God’s salvation when we received the Lord Jesus as our Lord and Saviour. Hence, being children of God, we acknowledge truly our great privilege to be a part of the CBBC family where serving God is steadfastly preached.

We praise God for our Pastor, Dr. Ed Laurena whose earnest dedication and love towards God have been an influence to us to serve the Lord through getting involved in the Church’ ministry. The preachings of God’s words and the Sunday School teaching are a great help for me to establish my family in accordance to the will of God. By the grace of God, my wife and I are also front liners of our Church. I am an Usher while my wife is a Sunday School teacher. Moreover, we are consistently praying that God will use us more in His vineyard.

We also praise God for our Pastor’s exhortation for us to get involved constantly in the main thing of the church which is the Soulwinning. We count it always a blessing to be able to lead souls to the Lord; seeing fruits that remain is truly an encouragement for us to continue winning souls.

Furthermore, we thank God because our two children, Precious and Eleazar are students of the Church’ Academy where we are privileged enough to be assisted by the true Christian teachers who prayerfully help us in training and preparing our children to be totally equipped in the service of God. With all these, we give all the glory to our Lord.

Family Testimony

Area 22/Division A8Bro. Mandy Abila

The Lord has been good to Area 22 having Bro. Mandy Abila as the leader with the faithful church members behind him. The Area consists of these places: Chrysanthemum Village, Adelina 2, Harmony Homes, Rosario Complex, Olympia Villages I, IV and VI, Juana 1, 3 and 6, Sylmer, and Silcas.

Area 22, by the guidance of God and through the preaching of our beloved pastor, is active in soul winning, visitation and discipleship. There are 10 adults and young people who are involved in these ministries. By God’s grace, at least 5 members are now in full time service, and they consider being a church/ school staff, Sunday school teacher, choir member, driver and usher as a great privilege. Meanwhile, the average number of individual members attending Sunday morning church services is 85, 25 at the evening service and 18 every Wednesday Prayer Meeting.

By the Holy Spirit’s leading and with the help of the area leader, Area 22 members are learning to sacrifice for the Lord and are encouraged to be willing to give to the Lord’s work. They acknowledge that there are more lost souls out there; thus, they are still eager to win them and teach them, no matter what the cost, till Jesus comes. Many members are now excited for the upcoming Mission’s Conference and it is evident by their selfless giving in the church. To GOD be the glory!

nalibing at nabuhay namagmuli. Roma 10:9-104.

iyong puso bilang iyong Tagapagligtas. Roma 10:13
