From the Executive DirectorWelcome to our 2019-20 season! It will be another fun-lled year with over 100 exciting opportunities! This year, we celebrate the people who make what we do possible, our members! We have brand new oerings including a members only happy hour (pg 9-10) discounts on tickets to our new Cabaret on 9th series (pg 5-6), and 10% o on art classes (pg 13-16)! And the good news continues...after selling out of our Dueling Pianos show the last ve years in a row, we've added a second date (see pg 7)! That means the

best night of your life can now happen twice a year! We are also bringing back the Fab 50's Live show that was held at Chula Vista Resort in the Wisconsin Dells from 2000-2008 (pg 7). Enjoy the same great music and talented cast on the beautiful River Arts Center stage one last time! But remember, our gallery is open 5 days a week in downtown Prairie du Sac. Stop by to enjoy the stunning artwork, unwind at our monthly Coee & Coloring event (pg 11), or bring over some lunch and sit on our new deck overlooking the Wisconsin River with a brand new mural being installed this July!

We look forward to seeing you soon! Lindsey Giese

To experience Ireland’s traditions in music, song, and dance presented by some of the most talented young performers in the world, this sensational act is an absolute must-see. Whether it be one of the much-loved vocal numbers like “Galway Bay”, the foot stomping beat of Kerry polkas, or a stirring air inspired by the Clis of Moher, The Young Irelanders deliver a performance which transports you to a part of the world untarnished by modernity and breathtaking in its beauty.

Backed by a full band, Wilson Fairchild is a country music duo made up of cousins Wil and Langdon Reid (sons of Statler brothers Harold and Don Reid). These two men, referred to as “the Reid boys,” have been writing, performing and playing music together their whole lives. Along with recording their own music, such artists as the Statler Brothers, Ricky Skaggs and Dailey & Vincent have recorded their songs, as well. So yes, that means their songwriting gamut spans through the country, bluegrass and gospel elds. They learned the craft from the best and are no strangers to knowing how to put an idea to music and come away with a great storytelling song.

The Four Freshmen perform with that same unmistakable sound of the original group – a vocal harmony like no other. They have strongly inuenced many groups over the years including Take Six, Manhattan Transfer and the Beach Boys. As the 23rd incarnation of the one and only Four Freshmen, their longevity proves they are doing it right! In concert they perform seminal Freshmen classics "Day by Day" and "Blue World" as well as sharing some of their favorites with new arrangements that include the irresistible force of "Something’s Gotta Give", the melodious "Skylark", "Early Autumn", "September Song", and "My One and Only Love". Each member is an accomplished vocalist and musician bringing new inuences and perspective to a time-honored musical heritage.

A 12 piece ensemble comprised of the nest professional brass players in the Midwest, the Isthmus Brass is Wisconsin’s premiere large brass ensemble. In this holiday spectacular, they present a varied program of virtuosic arrange-ments of the best-loved holiday tunes. From early classic Christmas carols, to banging big band versions of today’s most popular holiday fare, the Isthmus Brass never fails to impress.

Prolic singer-songwriters James Taylor and Carole King dominated the ‘70s airwaves with their singular vocals and lyrical brilliance. Now, award-winning, Juno-nominated artist Jim Witter returns to the River Arts Center stage for a 3rd time, joined by his incredible band and the talented Giselle Sanderson. Together they will celebrate the timeless inuence of Taylor and King, whose songs earned them induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and innumerable Grammy Awards. Get ready to ride a wave of emotion as Witter and Sanderson take concertgoers on a nostalgic musical journey with such unsurpassed tunes as “You’ve Got A Friend,” “It’s Too Late,” “Shower The People,” and “Tapestry.”
