HEALTHSOURCERI: GET HEALTH INSURANCE FOR 2016
HealthSourceRI (HSRI) is our state’s health insurance marketplace. Rhode Islanders looking for health insurance—and options to pay for it—have a one-stop shop with HSRI. Rhode Islanders eligible for Medicaid can also enroll via HealthSourceRI.
How to Enroll in Coverage Whether you do it yourself or need a little help, it’s good to know what options are available! Remember: you must renew your plan annually: HealthSourceRI provides enrollees with the option of auto-renewing their health coverage. Watch the mail for: your notice of renewal and official renewal packet.
Enroll/re-enroll online at www.healthsourceri.com
o You can enroll/re-enroll in coverage through the HSRI website. If enrolling for the first time, you will need to create a personal account. Once your information has been verified, you will have your username and password to log in and continue the enrollment process.
In person assistance: Make an appointment with a Navigator! Navigators are trained and certified through HSRI in partnership with the Rhode Island Health Center Association. Navigators will help you review your health insurance options, complete an application, and enroll in a plan that best fits your needs.

In person assistance: Meet with a Certified Application Counselor! o Certified Application Counselors are
from organizations that have volunteered to offer free and unbiased in person enrollment assistance. Review the full list of participating Certified Application Counselor agencies at www.rihca.org/about-rihca/outreach-and-enrollment.
In person assistance: Enroll at HSRI HQ! o HSRI HQ is located at 104 Wampanoag Trail, East Providence RI. Hours are Monday—Friday
8:00am—7pm.
In person assistance: Attend a HealthSourceRI Enrollment Event! o HSRI will host enrollment event throughout the state. These events are for enrollments, not
document or payment drop offs.

CONSUMER ALERT
All Navigators and Certified Application Counselors
must display a certificate showing that they are
trained and certified to be providing services as a
HealthSource RI Navigator or Certificated
Application Counselor. The certificate is issued by
the RI Health Center Association (RIHCA). They also
must ask you to sign a consent form. Services are
always provided free of charge to all consumers.
