Residence Inn created the purpose built extended stay lodging category which targets guests staying five or more nights. The
brand has grown to more than 670 locations globally.
The brand has opened three hotels in Europe; the Residence Inn Edinburgh, the Residence Inn Munich and the Residence
Inn Sarajevo. As the third largest global lodging brand in Marriott’s portfolio, there is great potential for further expansion
of the brand throughout Europe, where there is an untapped market for extended stay hotels. Residence Inn recognizes the
different needs of long stays and is designed to restore and sustain travelers so they can thrive. Each guest suite is spacious
offering separate areas for sleeping, working, eating and relaxing. The full kitchen is equipped with a cooktop, microwave, full
refrigerator and dishwasher allowing guests the opportunity to enjoy a meal at their leisure. The public space allows guests to
relax outside of their rooms in social areas. Guests can enjoy complimentary breakfast daily, a bar/lounge for drinks and light
