In 2007, Toko opened it’s doors in the heart of Surry Hills, immediately setting a benchmark for contemporary Japanese dining in Sydney’s premier dining precinct. Housed within a converted warehouse, Toko’s “less is more” philosophy extends from the restaurant fit out to the food delivered to your table on handmade Japanese ceramics. Toko boasts a comprehensive sake and shochu list in addition to the cocktail menu.
Toko has a variety of function spaces where we can cater for your next function or event. Groups are welcome at Toko whether it be an intimate gathering or corporate lunch/dinner in the private dining room. Toko will ensure every detail is taken care of to create a superb experience.

The Front lounge area is suitable for a casual sit down lunch or dinner or a canapé function for 30-40 guests. Lunch or Dinner:10 guests in one bay or 20 guests over 2 bays. Canapé Function:The area can be booked exclusively for 30-40 people for a cocktail and canapé function. A canapé menu is available ($30 or $50 per head).
