How often is C.P.I Reviewed ?

The C.P.I is reviewed four times a year

Reviewed in March (Q1), June (Q2), September (Q3) and December (Q4)

Is C.P.I Reliable ?

For Urban customers CPI is convenient and keeps up to date with prices however isn’t the same for rural customers.

Being Measured four time a year can prove great accuracy when measured but can be inaccurate at the end of quarters.

Different ways of Measuring Inflation

Produce Price Index is another method the RBA use to measure inflation.

P.P.I is measured by the amount of money producers earn from their products.
