Vision & strategy of Henley Alumni Finland 2018
MISSION
Henley Alumni is an exclusive network of internationally oriented world-class business school graduates and students. It supports the personal development and networking opportunities of its members both professionally, and in the pursuit of greater good of society. Henley Alumni also strives to promote the Henley brand as the only world-class business school operating in Finland.
VISION
Henley Alumni is the most desired exclusive educational network in Finland, known for its world-class quality and outstanding businessrelated networking opportunities.
OBJECTIVES
Henley Alumni Finland
Re-focus of operations
• At current state, Henley Alumni Finland has executed around 12-14 events per year. This has proven to be unsustainable; it has been a challenge to fill the rooms, and the numerous number of events has made proper marketing of events practically impossible.
• For this reason, the Henley Alumni Finland board has decided to decrease the frequency of events and to improve their desirability. The philosophy behind the re-focus is:FEWER BUT BIGGER IMPACT.
• In their analysis, the Henley Alumni Finland board has concluded that the appropriate number of events each year is around 6.
• This is based on a logic where proper marketing of an individual event will take 6 to 8 weeks. Excluding holiday seasons etc., there are around 31 weeks in a year, during which the ROI on marketing activities can be seen as advantageous.
