RECIPIENTS OF SNA SCHOLARSHIP 2016-2017

The total numbers of applications received for SNA scholarshipfor the year 2016 - 2017 were 231 from 23 states whichconstitute 101 institutions (SNA Unit). All the applications werethoroughly checked as per the criteria. 37 forms weredisqualified. The rest of the 194 applications were placed beforethe scrutinizing committee. Out of 194 forms,109 students wereawarded scholarship i.e. 53 B.Sc. (N), 51 GNM and 5 ANMstudents. The following candidates were selected for the awardof SNA Scholarship.

As per the decision of Executive/Council 2015, the selectedcandidate would get Rs.24,000/- year.

TNAI Scholarship for the year 2016-17The total number of applications received for TNAI scholarship 2016 -2017 were 20 from 7 States which constitute 13 Institutions i.e. 07students from Post Basic B.Sc Nursing and 13 students from M.ScNursing. Out of these 4 applicants had completed their course in2016.

Hence, we have submitted 16 applications before the scrutinizingcommittee for awarding the scholarship. The members scrutinized 16applications by keeping in view the merits of the applicants and thecriteria laid down by the TNAI to grant the scholarship. The followingcandidates i.e. 02 students from Post Basic B.Sc nursing and 04students from M.Sc nursing were selected for the award of TNAIScholarship.

As per the decision of Executive/Council 2015 the selected candidatewould get 24,000/- year.
