The respiratory system and the integumentary system

The respiratory system gives oxygen to the blood stream of the integumentary system. The integumentary system includes skin, nails and sweat glands. The oxygen from the respiratory system allows parts of the integumentary system to grow properly.

Facts about the respiratory system

The respiratory system inhales oxygen and exhales carbon dioxide. When you take a deep breath, air enters your lungs and your chest expands.Your lungs shift oxygen though the air and diffuses it into your blood.

We breath about 9-20 times a minute. We exhale about a half a litter of water vapour in a whole day.
