Order of Classes
► There is no set “order” of classes
► They can take the ABR® or elective course in any order they wish
► After the instructor delivers the course, select states may require an exam for C.E. credit. Open book exams are mandatory for all CIPS and At Home with Diversity courses regardless of location. Check with your state board for more information on other exam and C.E. policies. The course provider is responsible for all grading and C.E. submissions.

How Soon will the Student Hear from REBAC?
► Not until REBAC receives the student roster & exam results will students receive the ABR® Designation Application & welcome letter.
► Letter and application is emailed
► Process typically takes 2-3 weeks, depending on when the course provider mails the information to us

When Do Students Send Documentation?
► ABR® Candidates can send in their documentation ONLY when they have completed the ABR® Course, the elective course, and 5 closed transactions

Time Frame for Transactions
► ABR® Candidates can use transactions that occur anytime prior to taking the course, up until 36 months after completion of the course

Which Transactions Count?
► Represent buyer
► Represent tenant
► No same-agent dual agency

Certification Kits
► Certificate Kits get sent directly to the student – usually within 2-3 weeks after they have been designated. They are sent a certificate, pin, and information about marketing materials and how to use their new ABR®
designation

When Do Benefits Begin?
► Once a student has completed the 2-day ABR® Course, and REBAC receives roster, their membership begins as a candidate!

Use of ABR® Designation
► They can begin using the ABR® Designation once the have passed the 2-day ABR® Course and elective course and submitted their 5 transactions
► Only once their 5 transactions have been approved and they’ve received notice from REBAC can they begin using the ABR® logo.

Trademark Infringement
► It’s trademark infringement and a violation of the Code of Ethics if an ABR® Candidate uses the ABR®
Designation when they have not been awarded it!

What Are The Annual Dues?
► When a student takes the 2-day ABR® Course, they receive one-year REBAC membership free.
► 2nd year their dues are prorated for the remaining months of the following year
► 3rd year they are billed the $110.00 and receive a 5% discount if they pay online

►A selected committee will review the nominations and select individuals for the Hall of Fame

2018 Royalty Incentive Program
Providers that sponsor 1 designation program (ABR, SRES) and 2 certification programs from the lists that follow at the full per-student/per-course royalty will be entitled to a $15 discount on the per-student/per-course royalty for ABR® and SRES® and they can use that discount for the remainder of 2017. 1. Host NAR Green Day 1 and Day 2 full price at 60.00 per student – host 2nd set of program Green Day 1 and Day 2 royalty will be reduced to 50.00 per student. If you host a 3rd set of courses you start the pricing series over again.
