NSS Unit of RMCET has conducted a residential camp at Nive B.K village, Devrukh, Ratnagiri

district from 29/12/2019 to 04/01/2020

The day to day activities carried out in detail during the special camp are present in this report

The support extended by the RMCET, Administration and management are highly remarkable. The

time, guidance and co-operation extended by NSS co-ordinator, MU-Maharashtra gave a wide scope

to conduct the activities successfully

Inaugural function started at 3:15 pm in GRAMPANCHAYAT of Nive B.k village. Chief

29/12/2019, Sunday

The day kick started with lot of enthusiasm and a spirit of enthusiasm and a spirit of team work rose

everyone’s mouth. We started from RMCET around 2:30 pm and reached at 3 pm .

Inauguration function was start at 3.00 pm at Grampanchayat hall Nive. Chief guest for this function

was Mr. Mane Ajit (Sarpanch of Nive Grampanchayat)

On the dais Principal Dr. M.M. Bhagwat, Sarpanch Shri. Mane Ajit & NSS Program officer Mr.

Rahul Belekar were present. Principal Dr. M.M. Bhagwat was address to the students. Mr. Rahul

Belekar felicitates all the dignitaries. After the Inauguration function all volunteers went to

residential home & clean the inside & outside area.

From 4pm to 5pm had breakfast in, Nive B.K village and a cleaning the house which allotted us to

live at the residential camp. At night after dinner there were group making activities for social work

and responsibility of kitchen and household works.

30/12/2019, Monday

The day starts with Yoga session conducted by program officer R.D.Belekar from 6am to 7am. All

the voluntary are had breakfast in morning between 7:30 am to 8:30am.

The 1st group containing of 6 members were stay at house and other group went on social work of

cleaning a Vardandevitemple of village from 9:30am to 12:30pm. At 1pm all group gathered to have lunch. In

noon at 3pm there was a speech of Dr. Bhagwat Mahesh on the subject Health & happiness.

SUB :- Health & happiness; from 3pm to 5:30pm.

At evening 5:30pm to 8:30pm there was a small group discussion about working of next day. At 8pm

to 9pm had a dinner and 9pm to 10pm there was cultural program.

31/12/2019, Tuesday

The day starts with the yoga conducted by program officer R. D. Belekar from 6 am to 7am. All the

volunteers are had breakfast in the morning between 7:30am to 8:30am.

The 2nd

group containing of 6 members were stay at house and other 4 group went to social work of

road repair of Siddheswar temple. About half kilometer of road was repair by our volunteers. At 1pm all

group gather to have lunch. In noon at 3pm there was a speech of Mrs Veda Prabhudesai (Akhil Bharatiy

Grahak Panchayat Sadasya)

SUB :- Jago Grahak Jago from 3pm to 5:30pm.

At evening 5:30pm to 8pm there were a small group discussion on problem relative to village, at

night 8pm to 9pm had a dinner and 9pm to 10pm there were cultural programs.

01/01/2020, Wednesday

The day starts with the yoga conducted by program officer R. D. Belekar from 6 am to 7am. All the

volunteers are had breakfast in the morning between 7:30am to 8:30am.

The 2nd

group containing of 6 members were stay at house and other 4 group went on social work of

construction of small dam across a river flowing from village with the help of village Sarpanch Shri.

Mane Ajit. At 1pm all group gather to have lunch. In noon at 3pm there was a speech of Shri. Belekar Rahul

SUB :- Role of NSS volunteers for social work from 3pm to 5:30pm.

At evening 5:30pm to 8pm there were a small group discussion on problem relative to village, at

night 8pm to 9pm had a dinner and 9pm to 10pm there were cultural programs.

02/01/2020, Thursday

The day start with the prayer and yoga session conducted by program officer Mr. Belekar sir from

6am to 7am. The entire volunteer are had breakfast in morning between 7:30am to 8:30pm.

The 4th group containing of 6members were stay at house and helping our chef and other 4 group

went on social work of construction of dam and we completed the construction of dam. At 1pm all group

gather to have lunch. In noon at 3pm there was a speech of Mr. Sadanand Bhagwat (Chairman ASP college,

Devrukh)

SUB :- Rashtra he Ishwar ani rashtraseva hich Ishwar seva.

At evening 5:30 pm to 8pm all volunteers goes to village and noting village problem and giving

suggestion how to overcome from the problem. At 8pm had dinner and 9pm to 10 pm there were a group

activities of playing game.

03/01/2020, Friday

The day starts with the Prayer and Yoga session conducted by program officer R. D. Belekar from

6am to 7am. All the volunteers had break-fast in morning between 7:30am to 8:30am.

The 5th

group was stay at house and help on work of household and other group went on social work

of cleaning of Siddheshwar temple. Distance from residential camp of 4 km. At 1 pm all group

gather to lunch. In noon at 3 pm there was a speech of Mr. Yuyutsu Arte (Social Worker, Devrukh)

Subject:-Disaster Management.

04/01/2020, Saturday

The day start with the prayer and yoga session conducted by co-ordination of Mr. Rahul Belekar

from 6 am to 7 am.

The all group were helping in kitchen and some went to village to perform street play and

for social awareness. At 1 pm all had lunch and 2 pm there were presentation with the presence of

our principal Dr. M. M. Bhagwat, Mr. Suresh Mahadik, village panchayat Sarpanch Mr. Mane

Ajit.With the full of joy and happiness valedictory function held and close of residential camp. At 5

pm we come back to the college.
