Rainwater Catchment Systems Personnel Certification

Requirements for Certification
21110 Installers1) Minimum 3 years of experience in installing rainwater catchment, plumbing,
piping, irrigation or related piping systems.
2) Successful completion of a minimum 16 hour training course from an approved school.
3) Successfully passing a written exam encompassing all aspects of Standard 21110, ARCSA/ASPE/ANSI 63-2013 and general piping installation knowledge. The written exam must be a minimum of 50 questions with a passing grade of at least 75%. 20% of the questions will be on general piping installation knowledge
4) Certification to this standard shall be through a nationally recognized third party certification agency.
5) Certification shall be for a three (3) year period.

21120 Designers1) Minimum 2 years of experience in installing rainwater catchment, plumbing,
piping, irrigation or related industry field or profession.
2) Successful completion of a minimum 16 hour training course from an approved school.
3) Successfully passing a written exam encompassing all aspects of Standard 21120 and ARCSA/ASPE/ANSI 63-2013. The written exam must be a minimum of 100 questions with a passing grade of at least 75%.
4) Certification to this standard shall be through a nationally recognized third party certification agency.
5) Certification shall be for a three (3) year period.
21110 Inspectors1) Minimum 2 years of experience in installing rainwater catchment, plumbing,
piping, inspection, irrigation or related industry field or profession.
2) Successful completion of a minimum 8 hour training course from an approved school.
3) Successfully passing a written exam encompassing all aspects of Standard 21130, ARCSA/ASPE/ANSI 63-2013 and ARCSA/ASPE/ANSI 78-2015. The written exam must be a minimum of 50 questions with a passing grade of at least 75%.
4) Certification to this standard shall be through a nationally recognized third party certification agency.
5) Certification is for a three (3) year period.

Recertification Requirements
Possess a current valid 21110 or 21120 certification.
1) Successful completion of a minimum 4 hour training course encompassing all aspects of ASSE Series 21000 Standard and ARCSA/ASPE/ANSI 63-2013.
2) Successfully passing a written exam of 25 questions with a passing grade of at least 75%.
3) Certification to this standard is through a nationally recognized third party certification agency.
4) Certification shall be for a three (3) year period.
Possess a current valid 21130 certification.
1) Successful completion of a minimum 2 hour training course encompassing all aspects of ASSE Series 21000 Standard, ARCSA/ASPE/ANSI 63-2013 and ARCSA/ASPE/ANSI 78-2015.
2) Successfully passing a written exam of 25 questions with a passing grade of at least 75%.
