Message from your! LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR…!
Hi 2012-13 Division 62 Officers,
I’m Raegnar (Rain) Bartolo, the upcoming Lieutenant Governor of Division 62. I am really excited to work with you guys! I've personally talked to some new officers lately and you guys are amazing. If I haven't, please message me on Facebook ! I'm really interested to meet each one of you and be your best buddy! Remember, communication is the key !
Division 62 is growing fast and we need to take advantage of that by organizing big divisional projects that promotes team building and betterment of the community. It does requires an enormous amount of commitment and enthusiasm! I know it sounds a lot of work but I assure EACH ONE OF YOU WILL HAVE A GREAT TIME DOING IT IF YOU TRY. It's like DCON for the whole year!
Of course, a division won't be as successful if the clubs in it are not doing their part. That's why you guys exist, your club members BELIEVE and CHOSE you to LEAD THEM TO A SUCCESSFUL YEAR. This is your time to STEP IT UP, INSPIRE everyone, and MAKE A DIFFERENCE. So don't let them down! As your club leaders chose me, I won't let you guys down .
We will help each other, beat those deadlines, communicate with each other and take advantage of our resources.

DDHS ROCKIN’ PORTLAND…!
First off, I would like to thank all of you for all your hard work this past month. It was by far our most productive and busy month of both service and club activities. It was indeed a shame that none of us went to District Convention this year. But, we made up for that in how we continue to make a difference in our community and strive to find new ways of helping others in need.Yeah fix those books. Good job Key Clubbers
!Kudos to all the members who went and volunteered at the Book Bankin March. You know who you are. Thanks to you more kids will have access to books in poor communities, enabling them to raise their levels of vocabulary and the power of their imaginations.
Thank you to all the Key Clubbers who came to volunteer with us at the Blanchet House this past week. It was lots of work serving over 300 homeless folk each day, but thanks to all your hard work many people were able to enjoy warm meals and drink. Way to go Guys!
A Message from the Editor:
“I want you all to know that the people that you help when you volunteer will always remember your kindness. Whether or not they will remember your name ten years from now doesn’t matter. What matters right now is that you have taken the initiative to do good in this world. This itself displays the strength of our kindred spirit, and our passion to serve the community. Let us move forward not as club members, but as a family, as friends in arms against common foes: Poverty, Illness, Inequity, Injustice, and Hatred. Let us spread kindness throughout the world: one person, one family, one community at a time.”

We are honored to have the PNW District Governor this year to be part of our division. Giovanni McKenzie, we are so proud of you! Go and flourish your passion and enthusiasm in the whole district as like what you did to our division! You are a great leader and you will do great things! Division 62 will always remember the great things you’ve done for us! Don’t worry, as your lieutenant governor-elect, I won’t continue your hard work--- but I will do a better job at it! Like what you have told me in the Elections, “DO BETTER THAN ME.”
We won’t let you down! Continue representing Division 62! As we are the Panthers— black and fierce! We will keep roaring for service!
