RadiCSYour advantages
Monitor quality management, including calibration as well asacceptance and consistency testing, in one programme. Thesoftware is simple, easy to use and can even perform consistencytest measurements fully automatically. The RadiCS quality controltool is capable of end-to-end monitor quality management, starting with calibration and acceptance/consistency testingthrough to network-supported quality assurance managementin conjunction with RadiNET Pro. Moreover, RadiCS is simpleto understand, easy to use and suitable for RadiForce and non-RadiForce monitors. RadiCS also allows you to control EIZO’sWork-and-Flow functions to deliver user-friendly workflows. This includes, for example, the Point-and-Focus function, whichserves to quickly select and zoom in on relevant image areasusing the mouse or keyboard.

Optimal quality control of image reproduction systems inradiological applications
The RadiCS quality control tool is capable of end-to-end mon-itor quality management, starting with calibration and accept-ance/consistency testing through to network-supported qualityassurance management in conjunction with RadiNET Pro. Withthe measurement sensors in modern RadiForce screens for dia-gnostic reporting, RadiCS can even fully automate consistencytesting. The software is simple, easy to use and can even performconsistency test measurements fully automatically. EIZO offersan integrated solution consisting of software and sensors, whichmakes quality control both efficient and user-friendly.
Simple user interface for intuitive operation
Graphics, icons and texts are arranged in such a way that thefunctions are intuitive and logical based on their appearance. Anoverview list also allows users to immediately check the status ofthe monitors. The intuitive user interface makes it easy to calibrateand validate monitors.
Precision calibration
Regular calibration of monitors is key to ensuring consistentlyhigh image reproduction quality. Deviations in tone value render-ing, which result even during normal use, are reliably eliminated, for example, in accordance with DICOM or CIE.
Acceptance and consistency testing
The installation of diagnostic monitors is subject to acceptancetesting. Regular consistency tests are also essential. The RadiCSsoftware supports these operations by way of visual checksusing test patterns in accordance with DIN and AAPM, as wellas luminance, tone value and homogeneity measurements inaccordance with DIN, AAPM, IEC and JIS. RadiCS assignsacceptance and consistency tests of body regions/methods fromDIN 6868-157 to application classes to allow for unambiguouscategorisation during the related testing.

Self-calibration and self-diagnosis
RadiCS can perform self-calibration as well as self-diagnosis onthe basis of factory calibration data for each respective screen.Depending on the RadiForce monitor, RadiCS uses the integ-rated front sensor or built-in backlight sensor for calibration. Self-calibration is performed quickly without a separate measuringdevice. If unstable or altered brightness levels are detected, anerror message is output by the self-diagnosis function indicatingthat the hue curve requires recalibration. Self-diagnosis can beconfigured so that it is performed automatically at regular sched-uled intervals.
Features
2
Flexible scheduling
The time for carrying out quality control tasks such as daily visualchecks or semi-annual consistency tests can be customised ac-cording to the requirements at the respective workstation, for ex-ample, when the PC is switched on or immediately after a spe-cific application has been launched.
Optimised diagnostics workflow
To increase work efficiency, EIZO’s Work-and-Flow function of-fers various features in order to provide user-friendly workflows. This includes the Point-and-Focus functionality that makes it pos-sible to quickly select and zoom in on relevant image areas us-ing the mouse or keyboard. By adjusting the brightness and grey-scale levels, surrounding areas are darkened and interesting im-age regions are highlighted.
Documentation
Measurement results from calibration operations, monitor valida-tion checks and self-tests are archived for each monitor individu-ally and are available for future reference.
Asset management
Device and model names, the names of the medical institutionor department, the description of the installation location as wellas other information on each monitor, computer and graphicsboard can be documented and archived.
Extended service life thanks to automatic shutdown function
The automatic Backlight Saver shutdown function for the back-light on EIZO RadiForce screens can be configured usingRadiCS. This extends the service life of the monitors. Similar to ascreen saver, they turn off the backlight when the monitor is not inuse.
Universal compatibility
Numerous functions offered by the EIZO RadiCS software arealso compatible with non-RadiForce monitors. This means thatmonitors from other manufacturers can also be managed simplyand easily.
