What is the race route? The race begins and ends in Wray village, taking in extremely scenic views across the Tatham fells and over towards the Yorkshire Dales and Ingleborough.

The course begins fairly flat, with a hill at around 2k (we don’t mind if you walk up!), and then continues to be undulating for the next 4.5k, before enjoying a long decline, and a further flat 2k back to Wray village, before a short climb back up to the finish line outside Wray Institute.

Don’t be put off by the undulation if you’re new to the 10k distance. The nature of the route means that the difficult part is after you’ve warmed up and before you’ll get tired! Our marshalls are friendly and encouraging and we welcome runners of all abilities. And a terrific scarecrow medal will await your finish.
