The Presenters

MULTIREFLEXOLOGY – DIEN CHAN, Patryck Aguilar Cassarà (Spain)

Author with Anna Roca of the —ABC of Dien Chan, Ed. Grancher, Paris 2009— and the iBook —Multireflexology - Dien Chan— he is now President of the International School of Multireflexology - Dien Chan (EiMDC) and continues his work in Barcelona. As part of his passion for developing and promoting the technique, Patryck collects and integrates the accumulated experience of the trainers and therapists, leading a growing community built on a living, evolving therapy. He publish in 2013 the interactive application called Faceasit to help everyone to initiate to Dien Chan and all students and professional therapists to manage and design their protocols of treatments.

Dien Chan is the original facial reflexology method developed by Professor Bùi Quôc Châu from Vietnam. This technique permits to mobilize our capacity for self-regulation and is also used to interpret a broad body of knowledge of other therapies.

It is called multireflexology because each treatment combines various diagrams of projection, fix points located on the face and many stimulation techniques with the multireflex tools. Most reflexology techniques use a single diagram when Dien Chan combines more than 20 with a map of 257 fix points on the face.

CRANIO-SACRAL REFLEXOLOGY, Carol Faguy (Quebec)

CSR students learn to listen for and interpret the movement and rhythm of the cerebro-spinal fluid (CSF), identify the reflex areas for the cranial nerves and sutures of the skull and utilize a methodology that helps unwind the body’s holding patterns, freeing up the flow of fluids in the body and releasing long held tensions.

Cranio-Sacral Reflexology (CSR) Certification Training is offered to certified reflexology therapists and takes place over the period of 1 to 2 years. It consists of 8 days of training over 2 four-day levels and includes home study, case study preparation, practise group sessions and mentoring. This leads to a post-graduate Diploma in Cranio-Sacral Reflexology and allows membership into Cranio-Sacral Reflexology International Academy of Excellence.

Carol Faguy is a RAC-certified Reflexologist and Hand and Foot Teacher/Trainer. She also teaches the first level of

the post-graduate Cranio-Sacral Reflexology course for the Cranio-Sacral Reflexology International Academy (CSRI).

Carol has served as past president on the RAC National Board and is current president of the RAC Montreal Chapter.

She also sits on the ICR board.

Patryck Aguilar was born in Toulouse (France) in 1968 and is living in Barcelona (Spain) since 1986. Working as a graphic designer, Patryck Aguilar Cassarà met Professor Bùi Quôc Châu in 2001 in Barcelona. He immediately developed a passionate interest in the Professor’s research and assisted him in popularizing Dien Chan in Europe. He undertook the important task of structuring the teaching material, the first major step being the publication of the Dien Chan manual, and organized the first course given by Professor Châu in Barcelona. Working with Professor Châu and his children (therapists at the Vietydao Center) to continue disseminating the technique, he runs the club of Dien Chan, bringing together Professor Châu’s former students around the world, and set up the first team of European trainers.

Cranio-Sacral Reflexology (CSR) is a post-graduate training developed by Dr Martine Faure-Alderson, D.O. CSR integrates the principles of Reflexology, Osteopathy and Crani-Sacral Therapy and specifically targets the craniosacral system of the body (the membranes and fluid that surround and protect the brain, spinal cord and attached bones). CSR harnesses the extraordinary potential of the creative brain to activate homeostasis, resulting in profound, lasting effects on the receiver. It is effective on a variety of system dysfunctions, often stemming from emotional or physical trauma, such as whiplash. CSR is practiced all over the world and is the result Dr Faure-Alderson’s research and observation during her 40 years of practice as an osteopath, acupuncturist, homeopath and medical herbalist. This groundbreaking work has taken reflexology to whole new levels.

ADVANCED CIRCULATION LOWER LEG, Danielle Gault (Ontario)

This hands-on training will keep you busy for the full time we are together. You will leave with some new treatment techniques to add to your Foot Reflexology services. Both techniques were taught to Danielle over 35 years ago and she enjoys sharing these methodologies with Reflexologists from time to time. What to bring to this training: Please bring some oil, a couple of hand towels, and some method to clean the feet such as ‘healthy’ hand wipes. Benefit to your client: Improved circulation.

TRAINER: Danielle Gault is a Training Facilitation Specialist, Coach, Reflexologist and Yoga Teacher. With her great zest for life and learning, Danielle successfully blends her credentials in Psychology and Human Resources Management with her training in the Myers-Briggs Personality Type Indicator©, Neurolinguistic Programming, Life Coaching along with her training in the natural healing arts such as Yoga and Reflexology. Her strength lies in her belief that the power to shape the future lies in each of us and it is important to find ways and means to tap into this natural intelligence and express the inherent wisdom that each of us has to share.

STRESSLESS THROUGH REFLEXOLOGY Dorthe Krogsgaard and Peter Lund Frandsen (Denmark)

This methodology training session is for practicing Reflexology Therapists interested in expanding their Reflexology treatments by adding a couple of additional techniques as a way to conclude their reflexology session. Advanced Circulation Lower Leg teaches two methodologies.

1. Oiling/Massaging of the feet and lower legs. This circulation stress relief massage of the feet, lower legs and knee area was adapted from a method taught to Danielle many years ago. This massaging method is a great way to move toxins and to relax the muscles, tendons and joints. Used after your Reflexology Treatment, this oiling method is a great way to provide additional circulation benefits to your client.

2. The foot technique adapted from a method taught to Danielle a long time ago is a wonderful way to end your session. By moving the foot around in multiple ways, you assist your client in loosening additional stress and toxins. I use this method post Reflexology and after oiling the feet. Those who have been taught this method, love it. You will too.

Dual-speaker presentation with Dorthe Krogsgaard and Peter Lund Frandsen. This lecture will include a combination of theory, practical demonstrations and hands-on exercises.

Contents: 1. How stress can block the effects of reflexology. 2. Can stress be painful? 3. Touchpoint reflexology techniques to reduce stress. 4. Combining Nerve Reflexology and Scandinavian techniques. 5. New reflex points, what they have to offer, and why we find

them effective. 6. How to locate and work with the new points.

The new points we will introduce are:

Touchpoint techniques for the autonomic nervous system.

Nerve Reflexology for innervation of the respiratory diaphragm, abdominal viscera and the Vagus nerve.

A combination of Karl-Axel Lind and classical reflexology for centering and relaxation of the stressed client.

Further, we will discuss why it is important to work with stress reduction to get better results with other health issues.
