Quincy Medical Group will now be using Performance Manager (PFM)to track performance.

PFM is an electronic system used to set performance standards, provide feedback, and conduct appraisals.

Evaluation processes will still remain the same. However, you will be asked to electronically give your feedback and sign off on performance appraisals through PFM.

As information becomes available, you will be able to log in to view an electronic copy of your performance status.

Feedback will now be available at your fingertips!

Through PFM, you may also be asked to perform:

– Self-appraisals– Multi-rater/peer appraisals

The following pages will take you through the steps.

On the Intranet, click on the PFM link under the Human Resources tab.

The PFM log-on screen will appear.

If you haven’t already done so, then you will first need to register.

You will be able to view a list of tasks that have been assigned to you.

 Review Appraisal

1. Click the Review Appraisal Task link

2. Read through your appraisal

3. At the bottom click the “Sign” button to electronically sign the form.

Note: If you include comments, it will send the appraisal back to your manager to review your additional comments.

  Self Appraisal

1. Click the Self Appraisal Task link

2. Scroll through the appraisal and rate yourself on every item. You can save your work to return at a later time.

3. Once each item has been rated and all the necessary comments added, click the “Save and Send” button at the bottom of the form.

 Appraisal (Multi Rater Appraisal/ Peer Appraisal)

1. Click the Multi-Rater Appraisal Task link

2. Click the “Yes” button to accept the invitation.

3. Scroll through the appraisal and rate your peer on every item that applies. (No need to answer questions that don’t apply. You can leave those questions blank.)

4. Some of your answers will require a comment. You will be able to type your comment in the box that appears.

5. Once you have provided your input on the questions that apply, click the “Save and Send” button at the bottom.
