WHAT IS YOUR GENDER? From my questionnaire, 17 females and

3 males answered it. This tells me that I should base my magazine more for females because more females answered my questionnaire so I have more of an idea on what females want included in the magazine.

WHAT IS YOUR AGE? All my results were answered by pupils

aged 16-17. This is telling me that I should base my target audience on people who are that aged which is teenagers therefore my main target audience will be teenagers aged around 16/17.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU BUY MUSIC MAGAZINES?

From my questionnaire, the results were varied for this question. No one answered to buying a music magazine weekly which influences me to not make mine a weekly one. Eight people said they buy a music magazine monthly which is an idea for me. Only two people said they buy one every fortnight which tells me not to sell my magazine every fortnight. 10 people said they only buy one sometimes, never, every few months and very little. This is telling me maybe they don't really like any of the music magazines out, so based on my results I am going to choose my magazine to be published monthly because the people who chosen the other category, still buy one just not on regular intervals. WHO ARE YOUR FAVOURITE ROCK BANDS?

My results shown that the most popular rock band is ACDC as four people chosen them. This suggests that they could be my main article or my main image. Followed by that are Muse, Foo Fighters and Guns and Roses which got 2 votes. I may use these for my cover lines , subsidiary images or in my contents page. All the rest only got one so I wont include them as they don’t seem as well liked as the rest.

From my questionnaire, it shows the most popular rock singer is Brian Johnson getting 3 likes followed by Dave Grohl and John Lennon getting 2 likes. The rest all got one. This is telling me I should either use Brian Johnson as my main image or main cover lines and I could use the two others as subsidiary images or other cover lines.

WHAT ARE YOUR 3 FAVOURITE DARK COLOURS?

From my questionnaire, it is shown the most liked dark colour is black as 17 people chosen it. Followed closely, red got 14 and blue got 13. These three colours were the most popular from my audience and suggest to me I should use them because they have been chosen by many. Purple and grey got 5 likes and Maroon and green both got 2 likes. Lastly came burgundy which only got one like. First I would have to make sure the colours don't clash so I would test them and if they do I would use a different colour from my chosen list. Therefore I am still using colours my audience chosen no matter what.

DO YOU PREFER TEXT OR IMAGES MORE IN MAGAZINES? My results shown that more people

preferred images more than text. 18 people chosen images and only 2 people chosen text. This tells me I will include more images rather than overload the magazine with text.

WHAT'S THE MOST YOU WOULD PAY FOR A MAGAZINE?

My results shown that 9 people chosen they would pay £2-£2.99 and the same amount chosen £3 or above which tells me I would base my magazine price between £2-£3. I think £3 may be a good price because it’s not too expensive to pay monthly as it would be if it was weekly. One person said they would pay £1-£1.99 and one person said they would pay £4.50. I don't want to make my magazine price too expensive because that’s what can put people off but then again if you make it too cheap they don’t think it’s good quality so I think I will base my price around £3.

WHAT 3 WORDS DO YOU ASSOCIATE WITH ROCK?

My results shown, loud is the most popular word as 10 people chosen it followed by guitar and heavy. From my results I will use them to create my masthead as I will use the words people chosen and mix them around to make something. The words I really like are eccentric, vibrant and loud. PREFERRED AMOUNT OF PAGES IN A MAGAZINE? The results from my questionnaire show

that most people want 90 and above pages in the magazine. I feel like this is appropriate because I want to fill the magazine with things people love and customers will want to get the most out of what they have paid for. DO POSTERS INCLUDED IN THE MAGAZINE APPEAL TO YOU? From my questionnaire, 18 people said

when magazines include posters it appeals to them. I feel like this is a feature I should include to help increase purchases. I am going to include posters in my magazine because many people voted yes for it. Only two people said no.

WHAT DON'T YOU LIKE? From my questionnaire, there are many

things people don't like. I will try as hard as possible to not include as many as I can or none if possible because I want people to enjoy and like my magazine. The most popular thing people don't like is advertisements so I will try and not include these or keep them to a minimum.

DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THE ROCK GIGS COMING UP? From my questionnaire, 15 people said

they didn't know about the rock gigs coming up. I feel like I should include a gig list of gigs coming up so people can get involved and enjoy themselves instead of missing out. Only 5 people said they knew.
