is for You
We, the unified faith community of OUR LADY OF FATIMA PARISH, include the churches of Saint Peter, Our Lady of Hope, Saint Michael, Holy Rosary and Immaculate Conception. We are a diverse, merged community with a long history of faith. 5
As a community of faith, we seek to worship together and grow with the sacraments as we nurture a love of Christ and one another.
As disciples of Christ through Catholic education we strive to help the youth and children explore, understand and practice their faith.
As a body of Christ, we are committed to evangelization through Catholic education and fellowship.
We seek to become a strong, active community rooted in charity.

OUR CALL TO STEWARDSHIP December 9, 2018 - 2nd Sunday of Advent “And this is my prayer: that your love may increase ever more and more in knowledge and every kind of perception, to discern what is of value…” PHILIPPIANS 1:9-10 Glittery holiday ads can blind us to our stewardship values and distort our needs and wants. It is important that during this season of endless buying we remember that each of us also has the need to give back to God and to those that are in need.
Please pray for our sick: Dale Symons, Joyce Von Rueden, Paul O’Brien, Jean Stopper, Kathy Mueller, Virginia Larson, Tom Corley, Barbara Feiner, Jack White, Brad Crist, Valerie Gobrecht, Kim Busch, Liz Barth, Lydia Leahy, Jacob Kobylarczyk, Ellen Boatman, Val Feiner, Ed Blaine, Carson Hartwig, and Tazuko Hardyman. Dear Friends, Today’s readings are wake up calls for us to prepare for the great encounter with the Lord who is to come soon. Therefore, this season of Advent, let us humbly join the psalmist to implore the Lord: “Restore unto me the joy of my salvation, O Lord my God” (Ps. 51, 12). However, it is only when we have successfully and sincerely prepared that we can share and radiate in the joy of the Lord. Then and only then, can we exclaim: “What marvels the Lord
worked for us, indeed we are glad”(Ps. 125, 3). Finally, May our encounter with Christ this season restore the joy of our salvation. Amen!
