Medical emergencies are unavoidable and usually come

unannounced. Survival of a patient is dependent upon

the time in which he can get the medical help. In case of a

cardiac arrest a patient can die if he doesn't receive

treatment within first 10 minutes. Many illnesses, if not

detected and treated in time can result in loss of life. In

most of the cases the surrounding persons are the first

responders. Their actions can

be a determining factor

between life and death.

Therefore it is imperative that

everyone gets some training in

basic life support and first aid.

Pushpanjali Crosslay Hospital understands the

importance of well-prepared first responders in the

community who can save many precious lives. To fulfill

the vision of providing effective pre hospital care to

people in the area “Pushpanjali Life Saver Program”

will prepare people in the community to provide care to

the affected person till medical help arrives.

The training includes didactic lectures by experts in the

field and hands on training on mannequins in Basic Life

Support and First Aid. The training session will be a three

hour capsule and will cover common emergencies

such as:
